The brief
Sitecore Symposium is one of the biggest gatherings in the Sitecore partner ecosystem — and Horizontal Digital was showing up with something significant: a new company tagline and a full visual refresh. This wasn't just a booth presence. It was a brand moment.
Every screen at the conference — the booth LED wall, social walls, digital banners, motion graphic templates — needed to carry the new look and messaging with consistency, energy, and enough polish to signal that Horizontal was a top-tier partner. With multiple asset types across different physical contexts, the challenge was making everything feel like one coherent system.

A complete on-site motion system covering every digital touchpoint at the event. Each asset was built to work independently — but designed to feel unified when experienced together across the conference floor.

The thinking
Horizontal was launching a new tagline — "Unlock Greater Possibilities" — alongside a bold visual refresh built around high-contrast color on black backgrounds. Our job was to make sure that refresh landed at the conference the way it was meant to: as a complete, cohesive statement, not a collection of individual assets that happened to share a color palette.
That required a system-first approach. Before a single frame of animation was made, we mapped every screen context — how large, how far from the viewer, how long someone would actually look at it. A motion graphic template that works at a close-up social wall behaves differently on a full booth LED wall visible across a conference floor. The design decisions followed from those constraints.
System over assets
We designed the motion identity as a visual language first — then built the individual assets from it, ensuring every piece could be recognised as unmistakably Horizontal.
Context-aware design
Different screen sizes, viewing distances, and ambient light conditions shaped every animation decision — from speed and contrast to typography scale.
The scope
Booth LED wall
Large-format looping animation built for high visibility across an open conference floor. Bold color, clear messaging, smooth ambient motion that held up under convention center lighting.
Motion templates
Five reusable motion graphic templates the Horizontal team could populate with event content — built to flex without breaking the visual system.
Social Wall
A live social wall that needed to feel dynamic while accommodating user-generated content alongside branded animation — cohesion without rigidity.
Digital Banners
Supporting digital display units placed across the broader conference space — extending the brand footprint beyond the booth itself.
